The Annual School Assembly
The school celebrated its Annual Assembly recently, during which various presentations to local charities were made. These presentations were the result of the numerous charitable events that students had organised and taken part in during the past year. Swimming, rowing, running, baking, singing – students from all Years got up to all sorts of activities to raise money for worthy causes!
Numerous prizes and awards were also presented to various students to reward effort and to celebrate achievement.

After the awards the new Headboy, Henry Archer and the Responsibility Team were introduced to the school. They are the current Year 12 students who will be spearheading and organising charitable events next year and acting as role models for all the other students. Congratulations!
Mr Tavares also announced that Ms Elsie Gonzalez had won the “International Science Technician of the Year” award.
And….last but not least….Mr Tavares presented Ms Eli Gomez with a wonderful bouquet of flowers when he announced her retirement. We all wish her a long and productive retirement!
