World Clean-Up Day
A team of around 100 volunteers from Bayside and Westside joined forces to clean an area between Catalan Bay and Sandy Bay. They were accompanied by a number of teachers who happily gave up part of their morning to join them. We found that the area was not as difficult to clean as in other years as it had been cleaned recently. This is a good sign that the message is getting through. It was a lovely sunny morning and the atmosphere between staff and pupils was brilliant. We are grateful to our students for giving up their time.
At the same time that we were cleaning the site, a group of students from years 8-10 attended the parade which went from Casemates to John Mackintosh Square. We thank them too for their efforts.
